Saelia Aparicio's multidisciplinary practice offers us a window to a playful dimension: a joyous one where function, affection and self assurance coexist. In their work Saelia includes historical references that have been villainiced and frowned upon under a moralistic, patriarcal gaze.
Saelia Aparicio was born on a Secret island in Avila, Spain, and lives and works in London, UK. She graduated in Sculpture at the RCA in 2015.
