New York-based digital designer, Tom Hancocks, makes work that uses objects, physical spaces, and images to communicate his desires and experiences.
My name is Tom. I live in New York City, and I make work that uses objects, physical spaces, and images to communicate my desires and experiences. Most of the time, this work is digital. Mainly because it's an accessible medium with a lot of versatility - and democratisation in design (and all aspects of life) is vastly important.
The majority of my personal work centers around furniture (specifically chairs). This hasn't always been intentional, but I believe stems from a desire to find humanistic representation within digital work, as well as creating naturally inviting and experiential objects in reality.
